Delores Troutman White, 68, daughter of Darwin and Emma Imogene Kissiar Troutman, was born Sept. 10, 1938, at Ellis Prairie. She died July 19, 2007, at Hospice of the Valley Palm Valley Rehabilitation Center in Goodyear, Ariz.
She grew up in the West Plains and Houston areas, graduating from Houston High School in 1956.
She married Gilbert White Sept. 13, 1974, at Fort Sill, Okla. They had two daughters.
Over the years, she traveled to Iran, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, enjoying the cultures she experienced. She loved being an R.N. in the emergency room of Reynolds Army Hospital at Fort Sill, Okla.
Her hobbies included crocheting, bowling, watching politics and sports and playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; and one brother, Richard Troutman.
Surviving are her two daughters, Amy White of Ozark and Rachel Bright of Glendale, Ariz.; one sister, Audrey Fisher of Nixa; one brother, Roger Troutman of Chapin, S.C.; and four grandchildren.
Services are 10 o’clock today (Thursday) at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Wallace officiating. Burial is in the Boone Creek Cemetery.
