Home economic and flower divisions are among the activities planned for this year’s Texas County Fair-Old Settlers Reunion.
Flower entries will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the community building at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds. Judging occurs Thursday, and it is open to the public from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Entries in the home economics division can be brought to the community building from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the community building.
Open, 4-H and youth categories are planned. Entries range from baked items, canned goods and woodworking to garden vegetables and photography. Judging is Thursday. The items will be released from 2:30 until 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12.
