Lexie Malam scored nine points for the White Team in a 117-111 overtime loss Saturday in the Gerald A. Pilz & Friend’s All-Star Game.
Licking’s Amber Chambers added six points for the white. Trezha Malam did not score.
Willow Springs’ Megan James scored 14 points for the winning Red Team.
The game went into overtime when Springfield Hillcrest’s Caitlin Russell nailed a 3-pointer at the buzzer for the White Team. College of the Ozarks recruit Tara LaRue, from Bergman, Ark., scored 15 points for the White Team and was named MVP.
In the boys’ game, Scott Myers of Willow Springs had four points and Mountain Grove’s Justin Brown added three in the White Team’s 137-124 victory.
Licking’s Patrick Mason scored seven points for the Red Team.
Dustin Price of Spokane was named MVP with 15 points.
