Free clothes for back-to-school will be available Aug. 3 at the Texas County Food Pantry on East Highway 17 in Houston.
The annual event supplies school-age children in the county with three pairs of pants, shirts, socks and a pair of shoes. The event runs 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. A sign-in sheet is available at the pantry’s front desk.
Persons wanting to drop off items for the distribution can do so before Aug. 3. Donations are tax-deductible. For more information call Sister Clare at 417-967-4484.
