A “person of interest” has been questioned related to vandalism at Wehr Motors in Dunn and Mountain Grove, according to Lt. Melissa Dunn of the Texas County Sheriff’s Department.
Dunn said authorities seized two firearms believed to be used in the July 5, 16 and 17 shootings of show room windows at both locations. The firearms and shell casings recovered from the scene have been sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crime lab in Jefferson City to be analyzed.
Texas County authorities were notified July 5 of vandalism at the Dunn location. It occurred again July 16 at the same office. On the 17th, Mountain Grove officers were notified of bullet holes in the show room of the Mountain Grove location.
