Here’s an update on tallies in a contest to determine who throws the first pitch at Sunday’s “Houston Night” at the Springfield Cardinals game.
The person who collects the most money wins.
The tallies from canisters at local businesses is: Dorothy Ogden, KUNQ, $35; Joyce Campbell, City of Houston, $23; Michelle Dugan, Wal-Mart Supercenter, $91; Joleen Durham, TCMH, $282; Kay Jordan, $166; and Sharon Rees, Houston Schools, $13.
Money is accepted in containers at Forbes’ Pharmacy, Houston Herald, Houston City Hall and the TCMH cafeteria.
