Houston police investigated a trio of accidents in the city.

Officers:

-Investigated an Aug. 6 accident near First and Chestnut streets that police said occurred when a vehicle driven by DeElda M. Lipscomb, 80, of 695 Oak Hill Drive, pulled into the path of truck operated by Marty G. Merckling, 45, of 7592 Highway 137.

-Were called to an accident at Second and Main Streets on Aug. 1. Police said a car driven by Victor L. Sellars, 70, of Licking, pulled into the path of a vehicle operated by Jaime A. Martinez, 20, of Mountain Grove.

-Investigated an Aug. 12 accident that police said occurred when a vehicle driven by Gretchen A. Floyd, 32, of 534 Dogwood Lane, pulled into the path of car operated by Lillian A. Malam, 80, of Bucyrus. The mishap occurred at Holder Drive and a Wal-Mart driveway.

-Anthony D. Long, 26, of 204 First St., was arrested Aug. 10 after he was spotted riding a bicycle on Phelps Street. Long was wanting on a county warrant charging him with second-degree domestic assault. He posted $10,000 bond.

-Cited Steven M. Counts, 23, of 6589 Cedar Lane on charges of failing to register a motor vehicle on Aug. 10.

-Reported a quiet week at the recently concluded Texas County Fair. Only one incident was reported – a woman exposed her breasts and was quickly escorted from the grounds.
