A 6-year-old boy was killed Monday in a crash on Highway 137 in southern Texas County.
Dead is Draco A. McCallister of Willow Springs, who was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Crystal McCallister, 27.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a northbound truck driven by Carl E. Thannert, 75, of Willow Springs, was attempting a left-hand turn and pulled into the path of the southbound McCallister car.
The boy, who was flown to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, died at about 8:15 p.m. Thannert sustained moderate injuries. A passenger, Miriam F. Thannert, 77, sustained minor injuries, as did Mrs. McCallister.
The mishap occurred six miles north of Willow Springs. Both vehicles were totaled.
