Thieves made away with more than $700 in a safe at a Houston business late Thursday or early Friday morning, Houston police said.
A police officer found a door ajar at Pizza Hut about 3:27 a.m. Friday. A closer examination showed that a pry tool was used between the door and frame to gain entry to the building on South Sam Houston Blvd. Pieces of concrete were found in the store, and the safe – encased in concrete – was missing.
The investigation is continuing.
