E-herald, which opens Texas County to the world through an electronic edition of the Houston Herald, debuted last week.

The electronic edition duplicates the print edition with additional features, including color and the ability to directly send e-mails of stories and ads or print them. Users also can enter “key words” and when they appear in print, the user receives an e-mail.

By simply clicking the e-Herald logo on the home page of www.houstonherald.com, the user is directed to a simple registration page. Through Aug. 8, anyone can test it for free. Subscribers will continue to receive free access after that date, and various options are available for non-print subscribers.

Complete your simple, easy registration. It’s free for print subscribers.
