There will also be many other departments from the hospital attending with information and many of the community hospices and social service groups will be at the fair that night.

“This has become a very positive evening for the community and gives our health providers a wonderful opportunity to meet the public. We have actually had people attend who have not been to the fair in years who have come just for the screenings, ” said Brenda Senter, chamber director. “When the Houston chamber organized this event in 2003, it was meant to encourage people to attend the fair on a week night and it has been successful not only for the chamber, but also for our medical providers and residents. One of the greatest assets our chamber can share with potential residents is the quality healthcare available throughout Texas County. We encourage everyone to come to the event and take this opportunity to meet our health care providers and take care of your health.”
