The arrest of a Licking man last week led authorities to the Mark Twain National Forest, where more than 500 marijuana plants were seized near Paddy Creek.
Terry D. Hatcher, 36, was arrested Aug. 1 at his residence east of Licking on an outstanding warrant for distributing, manufacturing and producing a controlled substance.
Information gathered at the scene led authorities to the marijuana plants. Hatcher has been charged with one count of manufacture of a controlled substance and three counts of conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance. His bond was set at $100,000.
