Three individuals were arrested last week when the Texas County Sheriff’s Department served a search warrant in Summersville.
Sheriff Carl Watson said Edward B. Belew and Howard D. Crane of Summersville and Bonnie L. Barton of Houston were arrested and charged with multiple counts when the warrant was served at Belew’s residence.
Belew is being held without bond at the Texas County Jail for a criminal non-support warrant. Barton is also incarcerated with a $25,000 bond with charges of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and delivery of drug paraphernalia.
Crane is free after posting a $50,000 bond. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, assault on a law enforcement officer and felony resisting arrest.
