If you live on Highways 17, AA, AW, P or Z you may see a Missouri Department of Transportation mower in the next week, reports the agency.

The roads are targeted for mowing to control vegetation and improve visibility.

Other work planned in the area:

*Highway 32 will receive a chip and seal pavement treatment.

*Asphalt paving on U.S. 63 from Licking to Highway K is under way. The 8.37-mile project is under contract to Ozark Asphalt Co. of West Plains. Traffic is reduced to one lane in the work zone. Completion is planned at the end of the month.

*Finish work has begun north of Cabool on U.S. 63. The 3.36-mile project includes asphalt paving, bridge rehabilitation and intersection improvements.
