Three Licking teenagers sustained minor injuries Saturday on I-44 at Jerome, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Ryan A. Reed, 18, was the driver of the vehicle that lost control in rain, hydroplaned and traveled off the roadway, down an embankment and struck a tree.
The patrol said Reed and two passengers, April M. Laroue, 16; and Crystal R. Shepard, 18, were taken to Phelps County Regional Medical Center at Rolla.
Members of the Doolittle Fire Department also responded to the scene.
