Houston police cited two people with DWI during the last week.

Officers:

-Arrested James A. Stanton, 37, of 7425 Highway 137, with DWI on Aug. 24.

-Arrested Timothy M. King, 402 Phelps, with operating a motor vehicle while license suspended and DWI on Aug. 23.

-Charged Shelia M. Alston, 41, of 819 Hiett, with failing to obey an electric signal on Aug. 25.

-Are investigating two cases of lost or stolen purses. An Aug. 17 report came from Linda M. Bolding, 59, of Bucyrus, who had left her purse in a Wal-Mart shopping cart after loading her purchases. The second report on Aug. 20, came from Peggy Hart, 75, of 506 Primrose Lane, who told officers her purse was stolen from First Christian Church. Earlier, a man who identified himself as being from a Rolla cleaning supply business, had been in the building, officers said.
