A veterans official who visits in Texas County was recently selected as regional supervisor for the southeast district of Missouri.
Joe Dailey replaces Bill Palmer, who retired. The region includes 28 counties from the Bootheel to a region that includes Pulaski, Phelps and Texas counties. Dailey will have offices at Fort Leonard Wood and Cape Girardeau. Ten veteran service officers cover the 28 counties.
