Texas County women traveled to the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds on Thursday for a free expo.
It included more than 30 vendors displaying, selling and giving away items for women.
Women’s organizations, crafters, churches, retail stores, independent consultants and healthcare were among vendors featured at the expo. Healthcare providers offered free health screenings and talking to women about any health concerns.
It’s the second year for the event in Texas County.
In 2006, the Houston Women’s Expo drew about 250 women.
