The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will host a blood drive from 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Houston Wal-Mart Supercenter.
The blood drive is from 2 until 6 p.m.
It takes more than 275 donations every day to meet the needs of patients in 36 area hospitals, including Texas County Memorial Hospital.
Proof of identification is required for first time donors. Eligibility requirements include weighing at least 110 pounds and being in general good health. For more information, visit www.cbco.org or call 800-280-5337.
