Charles and Janet Dyer of Houston announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Anne, to Dan Stitt of Springfield, son of Richard and Betty Stitt of Seymour.
Dyer is a 2000 Houston High School and 2006 Missouri State University graduate. She is an elementary music teacher with the Diamond R-IV Schools.
Stitt is a 1992 Mountain State Baptist Academy graduate and a rabbi at Beth Simcha Messianic Synagogue
A Sept. 23 wedding is planned at Gateway Disciples of Christ Christian Church in Springfield.
