Several area residents who registered at a Missouri Department of Conservation and Texas County Soil and Water Conservation District booth at a recent women’s expo took home prizes.
Winners were: rain gauges, Sally Smith and Carol Whetstine; tin can high coffee mugs, Brenda Barton and Kim Hutter; Missouri native plants books, Dottie Batson; Tree of Missouri book, Barbara Hughes; and Native Landscaping book, Jerra Wotten.
