Two persons were injured Thursday in a crash at Highways 17 and 137 at Yukon. Sgt. Jeff Kinder of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a vehicle driven by Tanya A. McGuire, 37, of Houston, failed to stop at a sign due to fog and crossed the intersection and struck an embankment.
McGuire sustained moderate injuries and was taken to TCMH. Carla C. Lutz, 52, a passenger, sustained minor injuries and also was transported to the county hospital. Members of the Texas County Rescue Squad also responded to the scene.
Kinder said McGuire was not wearing a seat belt.
