A 36-year-old Cabool man was seriously injured Saturday night when his Harley Davidson motorcycle crashed into a trailer-truck unit on I-44 in Laclede County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Robert L. Matthews was airlifted to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. He was cited on charges of following too closely and not following the restrictions of his motorcycle operator’s license.
Troopers said the trailer-truck unit driven by a Pittsburg, Kan., man had slowed in traffic congestion.
