A 59-year-old Shawnee, Kan., man sustained moderate injuries when his motorcycle struck a dog five miles north of Summersville on Highway 17 late Thursday afternoon.
Tpr. Terry Nelson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said Melvin G. Bunce was traveling southbound when the mishap occurred.
Bunce was taken to TCMH by ambulance.
