Two activities are planned in downtown Houston in conjunction with Halloween.
Merchants in the downtown business district will host trick or treating on Wednesday.
The Houston Optimist Club has opened its haunted house, “Hotel Houston.”
The first evening was Friday on Pine Street.
The schedule is: 8 p.m. until midnight, Saturday; and Halloween, 6 to 10 p.m. Admission is a $1.
