Rachel Phillips of Houston was named the Texas County Memorial Hospital September employee of the month.
Phillips is a data processor in the business office at TCMH. An employee of TCMH for 15 years, Phillips is known for continually looking for ways to improve the hospital’s billing process and procedures.
“Whenever problems arise, Rachel is an employee that is quick to resolve problems with the appropriate staff members,” said Linda Pamperien, Phillips’ supervisor.
She noted that Phillips is proud to be a TCMH employee. “This is evident in her attitude and work ethic,” Pamperien said.
As employee of the month, Phillips received a gift certificate honoring her achievement, a pin, $100 cash, a special parking place in the TCMH lot, one day of paid vacation, a membership in the TCMH Fitness Center, a $50 gift card, a gift certificate to D & L Florist and CD of the month from KUNQ.
A reception was held at the hospital in honor of Phillips, who is eligible for the 2007 TCMH employee of the year award.
