Logan Williams had a pair of rushing scores and Casey White threw two touchdown passes as Mountain Grove thumped Cabool 44-14 Friday night.

The undefeated Panthers (6-0, 5-0 SCA) gained 212 yards on the ground and had 354 yards of total offense.

Williams’ 1-yard run and an 8-yard pass from White to Karl Tesch gave Mountain Grove a 14-0 first-quarter lead. Williams had another 1-yard touchdown, and White connected with Aaron Charleson for a 62-yard score as the Panthers took a 31-7 lead in the third quarter.

Cabool (4-2, 1-1 SCA) scored on Ryan Smith’s 1-yard run in the second quarter, and a 3-yard run by C.R. Polston in the third.

Salem 34, Willow Springs 18: Cody Wofford accounted for three first-half scores as Salem built a 28-12 lead and cruised past Willow Springs.

Wofford hit Justin Davis with a 38-yard score and connected with Alex Heitman for an 8-yard touchdown in the second quarter. He also scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter for the Tigers (2-4, 2-2 SCA)

Chris Thomas returned an interception 60 yards to paydirt for Willow Springs (2-4, 0-3 SCA).

Ava 26, Branson 21: Jonathan Batcheller threw three touchdowns passes and ran for another score to lead the Bears past Branson.

Batcheller had touchdown tosses of 51, 31 and 32 yards to three different receivers. He also had a 51-yard rushing score for the Bears (4-2).

Hayti 55, Mtn. View 30: The undefeated, state-ranked Indians racked up 464 yards of offense and led 42-12 late in the second quarter as they rolled to an easy victory.

Luke Yarber had 301 yards of total offense – 218 passing, 83 rushing – and four touchdowns for Mountain View-Liberty (1-5)
