Three Houston churches have announced activities in conjunction with Halloween next Wednesday.
Wellspring Church on South U.S. 63 will host a “Hallow Him” celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. Free hot dogs and nachos, candy, games and a costume contest are planned. There also will be a drawing for a bicycle.
Faith Fellowship west of Houston will host the “Wild West Family Fall Fest” from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Several contests for all ages are planned: pie-eating, western costume and pumpkin carving or decorating. A family supper is planned from 6:30 – 8 p.m.
At Houston’s First Baptist Church, snacks, treats, hot cocoa, punch and coffee are planned from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event is in the church fellowship hall.
