The Houston Senior Center last week offered to help county seniors with questions about the Missouri Rx program, which helps pay Medicare Part D deductibles and co-pays.

Missouri Rx is the State Pharmacy Assistance Program, which requires no costs associated with enrolling or belonging to it. Enrollment is available at any time.

The program is open to Missouri residents enrolled in Medicare Part D and whose yearly income is less than $19,600 if single or $26,400 if married.

Those registered at the senior center must bring proof of Missouri residency [a driver’s license or utility bill is okay], Medicare and Social Security cards.
