Texas County Memorial Hospital named Terry Moore of Houston its October employee of the month.
Moore is the assistant in charge in the environmental services department at TCMH. An employee of TCMH for 12 years, Moore is known for doing maintenance work that is a reflection of his abilities and efforts.
“Terry always tries to accommodate requests for help from other departments,” said Linda Pamperien, chief financial officer. “He’s the ‘go to guy’ when there’s an urgent maintenance need; he’s reliable.”
Pamperien, who nominated Moore for the award, noted that in recent months he has taken the helm of large in-house projects. They “have been done efficiently and have saved TCMH a great deal of money, too,” Pamperien said.
As employee of the month, Moore received a gift certificate honoring her achievement, a pin, $100 cash, a special parking place in the TCMH lot, one day of paid vacation, a membership in the TCMH Fitness Center, a $50 gift card, a gift certificate to D&L Florist and CD of the month from KUNQ. A reception will be at the hospital in honor of Moore.
Moore is eligible for the 2007 TCMH employee-of-the-year award.
