Kenzie Scheets scored 11 points as the Houston seventh grade girls cruised past Willow Springs 30-20 Monday night.

The Lady Tigers, who beat Licking 26-15 Thursday, are 2-0.

Alexa Ichord scored eight points, Sadie Ashworth had seven and Kaighin Hunninghake chipped in two against Willow Springs.

Ichord scored five of Houston’s nine second-quarter points to give the Lady Tigers a 15-8 halftime advantage. Scheets scored six in the third as Houston took a 26-12 lead into the final quarter.

Against Licking, Scheets scored six of her team-high 13 points in the second quarter. Amber Sillyman scored all five of her points in the second half.

Houston out-scored Licking in every quarter. The Lady Tigers led 12-7 at the half.

Ichord scored four points, and Ashworth and Mikayla Adey had two points each.
