A Birch Tree woman was injured early Monday morning in a crash five miles north of Licking that left her vehicle totaled.
Tpr. Terry Nelson of the patrol said Jennifer L. Walton, 33, was traveling northbound when she swerved to miss a deer, ran off the roadway and overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels.
Walton was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston by ambulance with minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt, Nelson said.
