The Missouri Department of Conservation will hold a volunteer orientation Jan. 8 at the Twin Pines Conservation Education Center at Winona.
Officials said enthusiasm and a little time are all that is required for volunteers, who pick their schedule, skills and interests.
The session runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at the U.S. 60 building. It is 1.3 miles east of U.S. 60 and Highway 19 north.
