Filings began Tuesday for positions on city, school, water district and TCMH boards.
In Houston’s Ward I, incumbent Joe Honeycutt filed. The terms of Joyce Campbell, Ward II; and Don Romines, Ward III, also expire.
Dr. Tom Dunn, president of the board of education at Houston, will seek re-election. The terms of Sharon Hart and Jim Cavanaugh also expire.
The deadline to file is Jan. 22. Voters go to the polls in April.
