Minaya Maddox and Kelsi Adey scored six points apiece to lead the Houston JV girls past Licking 31-26 Saturday night.

Danielle Pounds added five for the Lady Tigers, who won for the first time this season. Houston out-scored Licking in each of the first three quarters for a seven-point advantage.

On Thursday at Rolla, Jessica Herndon hit three 3-pointers and scored 11 points in Houston’s 56-27 loss.
