Pavement repairs on U.S. 60 between Mountain Grove and Cabool – involving lane closures in various locations – began Wednesday. Work is expected to continue through January or early February, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
MoDOT will avoid lane closures on U.S. 60 during the holidays, weekends and in the event of bad weather.
The project involves a two-mile section of one eastbound lane between U.S. 60-West and Highway 95 at Mountain Grove. This lane will remain closed through Friday afternoon, Dec. 7.
Crews will continue working in the U.S. 60 eastbound lanes, moving toward Highway 181 in Cabool. When the eastbound repairs are complete, the crews will move from Cabool west toward Highway 95 at Mountain Grove.
