The Raymondville School board approved recommendations for roof repairs, new guttering and restroom improvements from the committee for facilities improvement at Monday’s monthly meeting.
The changes will be made during the current school year. The committee will meet again during the spring to outline improvements for 2008-’09.
In other news, board members:
– Nominated Ashton Kell for the John T. Belcher Scholarship sponsored by the Missouri School Boards’ Association.
– Approved the library media center handbook.
– Heard an instruction/student assessment program evaluation from Superintendent Nathan Holder.
– Approved recommendations for roof repairs, new guttering and restroom improvements from the committee for facilities improvement.
– Heard from Holder that the school’s attendance is just below 97 percent for the school year. Holder also updated the board on discipline referrals and finances.
The board will meet again in regular session at 7 p.m. Jan. 14 in the media center.
