A “Family Fun Night” at Raymondville School attracted 57 Thursday despite inclement weather.
The theme for the quarter was “Christmas Around the World.” Countries highlighted were Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany and Mexico. After a chili supper, guests were invited to attend the country of their choice.
At each country station, a small photograph book was read and shown to give them a background of that country. Christmas traditions of each country were discussed.
At each location, the guests were given the choice of at least two Christmas crafts, along with coloring pages of the country’s flag.
