O'Neil heats up, helps Tigers pull away

Ryan O’Neil poured in 10 fourth-quarter points in less than two minutes to help the Houston Tigers pull away from Plato for a 62-49 victory Friday night.

O’Neil scored 12 of his team-high 14 points in the final period, highlighted by 10 points in a 1 minute, 33 second span to give Houston a double-digit advantage. The game was tied 41-all entering the fourth quarter.

Chad Hutsell hit three 3-pointers en route to 13 points for the Tigers (4-2). Michael Buckner scored 12 and Jonathan Page had eight.
