The federal trial of a Mountain Grove man accused of mailing a pipe bomb to the West Plains Police Department has been continued from January to February.

He is also charged with mailing a destructive device with the intent to injure another person, which carries a 20-year sentence and transporting explosive materials and making a destructive device.

The trial is scheduled on the February trial docket in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri in Springfield. Supervisory Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Oliver is prosecuting the case.
