Mike Wilson, a former resident of Texas County, died Oct. 30, 2007, at his home at Portland, Ore., of prostate cancer. He was born in 1913 in the Plum Valley community in Texas County.
Mr. Wilson and his first wife, Catherine “Kay.’ lived in the Plum Valley community in the ’60s. He had a lifelong love of animals.
He was preceded in death by his wife and daughter, Connie.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; daughter, Sandy; stepdaughter, Laura; stepson, Daniel; and three granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Services were Nov. 10 at St. Therese Catholic Church.
