A Houston City Council member is the latest to file for re-election.
Don Romines, a Ward III, alderman filed Friday. The slot is among several that will be filed in April involving cities, school boards, water districts and the TCMH board. Other city incumbents who filed earlier: Joe Honeycutt, Ward I; and Joyce Campbell, Ward II.
In other filings:
-Tom Dunn, the incumbent, has filed for Houston board of education. Other members whose term expires are Sharon Hart and Jim Cavanaugh.
Mark Forbes and Mattie Woods have filed for Texas County Memorial Hospital board. Forbes is the incumbent.
At Raymondville, Gene DeWitt and Don Barton Jr. have refiled for the village council.
School filings were unavailable this week because offices were closed for the holiday.
The deadline to file is Jan. 22.
