The Texas County Spikers 13s won the Silver Division of the Springfield Winterfest Tournament this weekend.
The Spikers, who survived a play-in game to advance to bracket play, beat the CH Slamerz in straight sets in the title match.
“I’m very proud of how each girl played,” Spikers coach Britany Cheek said. “They played great when they were put in pressure situations to win.”
The Spikers beat CJ Smash in pool play and split with Joplin and Carthage. They lost to the Springfield Juniors in two sets.
After beating Carthage in the play-in game, the Spikers defeated a team from Benton, Ark., in three sets to advance to the championship match.
