Barbara Faye Wilson, 72, daughter of Granville and Susie Mae Clark, was born May 17, 1935, at Lenox. She died Jan. 29, 2008, at St. John’s Mercy Hospital at Washington, Mo.

She married Norman Wayne Wilson May 3, 1952. They celebrated 55 years of marriage and had five children.

Mrs. Wilson was a retired Civil Service worker and spent her retirement years at Eldon.

She and her husband attended auctions and spent time enjoying their family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gary Wilson; and two brothers, Leo and Jack Clark.

Surviving are her husband; children, Pat Higgins of Villa Ridge, Debbie Spitler and Anita Spitler of Big Piney, Larry Wilson of Union and Heather Clark of St. Clair; special friend, Preston Wittenborn of Union; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services were Feb. 2 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel at Licking with the Rev. Dors Wilson officiating. Burial was in the Edgar Springs Cemetery.
