The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will host a blood drive from 1-6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Houston’s First Christian Church.
CBCO has issued a code yellow alert for all negative blood types and B Positive blood. There is less than a two-day supply of these blood types on hospital shelves.
Eligible donors should weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health. Proof of identification is required for first-time donors. CBCO says it needs the public’s help to meet the growing need for blood in the Ozarks.
