The Local Emergency Planning Committee will meet Feb. 12 in the training room of the Texas County Health Department. All Texas County residents are invited to the 7 p.m. meeting.
Members of the group are: Don Shelhammer, presiding commissioner; Linda Garrett, district II commissioner; Tom Borta, chairman; Kent Sturgeon, Licking Fire Department chief; Guy Ceplina, Raymondville Fire Department chief; Jerry Logsdon, hazardous material technician/fire instructor; Ron Gaston, Texas County Health Department; Rueben Roedeske, Tyrone Fire Department board member; Glenn Willson, Texas County Sheriff’s Department; Sandy Stanley, Houston resident who is experienced in emergency operation centers; Bob Horn, TCMH paramedic; and Donna Robertson, Wri-Tex 911 director.
Anyone who would respond in the event of a hazardous material incident is invited.
