Four area people face multiple charges following the execution of a search warrant Feb. 21 in Houston.
Officers from the Texas County Sheriff’s Department detained 12 people from Michael A. Hebert’s residence at 424 S. Third St. Ten were transported to the sheriff’s office for questioning and four were charged:
-Hebert, 30: Texas County warrant for distribution of controlled substance, Class B felony; and probation violation, possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute, association with convicted felon and admitting to use of controlled substance.
– William T. Hebert, 21, Summersville: probation violation, association with convicted felon and admitting to use of controlled substance.
– Angela D. Briggs, 30, Hartshorn: Texas County warrants for fraudulent use of credit/debit card (value of $500 or more), Class D felony; theft/stealing of property or services more than $500 but less than $25,000, Class C felony; and forgery.
– Amy D. Hetzer, 21, Hartshorn: probation violation, association with convicted felon and admitting to use of controlled substance.
Texas County Sheriff Carl Watson said two more will soon face charges and “additional charges are likely beyond this.”
