Heavy rains swelled streams and rivers Sunday in the county.
Overnight precipitation followed a week where freezing rain crippled the county, closing schools and businesses.
Houston’s Karen Becker reported 1.7 inches of precipitation Sunday. Jim Roth, who lives just south of town, had 1.52 inches on his property.
At Yukon, Jim Panetta recorded 1.62 inches, and Shirley Daugherty reported 1.78 inches at Eunice.
