Houston police arrested a man on a probation violation warrant and charged another with assault this week.
In other matters, police:
-Charged Gary W. Hale, 47, of 9432 Strawberry Road, with DWI and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway on Feb. 24.
-Cited Jerry W. Collins Jr., 23, of 302 Skyview Terrace, with operating a motor vehicle while operator’s license revoked on Feb. 19.
-Charged Donald A. Newell, 18, of 424 S. Third, with animal neglect on Feb. 21.
-Cited Jesse L. Houston, 15300 Piney Dr., with third-degree assault on Feb. 15 following a dispute on a business parking lot.
-Arrested Joshua Lee, 21, of Springfield, on a probation violation warrant. He posted a $5,000 bond.
