The Missouri State Highway Patrol announced last week a new traffic safety program for teenage and adult drivers.

The program, “How To Save A Life,” will replace the current “It’s My Life” program” and is designed for drivers high school age and older. A 16-minute video highlights the four risky behaviors of drivers through photographs, music and testimonials from victims and family members. The risky behaviors consist of drinking and driving, failure to use occupant restraints, inattentive driving and speeding.

Anyone in the Troop G area interested in scheduling the program for their group, club or school should contact Sgt. Marty Elmore at 417-469-3121. There is no cost for the program.
